DigiPak Analysis - My Chemical Romance
This is a DigiPak for My Chemical Romance's album 'The Black Parade is Dead'. The album includes a disc of a live concert in Mexico and also and DVD featuring the Mexico concert and another live concert in New Jersey. The design of the album contrasts with the concept of the Black Parade album, for example on the front of the album there are carnations which normally symbolise deep love and affection when the concept of the album is that of death. The front cover of the album also depicts that of a cross which signifies that this is the last show of the tour and will not perform as these 'characters' again. Also included in the DigiPak are things like the band website, the website of the record label they are signed to, and also the logos of the record labels associated with My Chemical Romance. I feel it is imperative that I include these features into my DigiPak.
